Our Mission

At Cozy Canine aka Coalson Corral LLC, we provide a safe, quiet and loving environment for your furry friends while you ride the Cumbres & Toltec Steam Train, hike, shop or explore the Chama Valley and surrounding Northern New Mexico areas. We want you to take comfort knowing your fur baby will be safe, cared for, and have the opportunity for play time while you enjoy your day! Space is limited!!

We offer pick up and delivery!

Shot records are required to keep everyone safe.

DOGGY DAY CARE

We are open daily from 7:00AM - 7:00PM

(5:00 on Fridays)

TAX INCLUDED

$35 (12 hours) for 1 dog

$25 (6 hours or less) for 1 dog

OVERNIGHT DOG BOARDING

$45 (24 hours $45 - $3 per hour after)

$5 per additional dog if staying in same kennel

about us

We love animals!

We originally opened Coalson's Corral LLC in Decatur, Texas as a Petting Zoo & Pony Ride business in 2008. We had a wonderful time meeting people and sharing our love and knowledge of animals with those people. Around 2012, Susan met a Labradoodle in a Dallas Park at one of our Petting Zoos and was very impressed with that breed. Susan dreamed of having a Golden Retriever, so that is why we decided on Goldendoodles! New to the breeding world, we had a lot to learn. We operated as Double C Doodles. God blessed us with both businesses and carried us through some challenging times during Allen's health issues. We now live in the beautiful mountains of Northern New Mexico on 10 acres and absolutely love the changing seasons! Caring for dogs, puppies, horses, and chickens is a full time job for Susan. Going for daily walkabouts, cleaning pens, feeding and grooming takes a lot of time, but what a wonderful career! doggy day care dog boarding dog boarding kennel

DOUBLE C DOODLE PUPPIES

Ready to add a furry family member?

We have been breeding Goldendoodles for over 10 years. We are also known as Double C Doodles. We began in Decatur, Texas. When we moved to Northern New Mexico, we decided to take a break from breeding since we keep all of our dogs. 12 dogs in a household was quite enough! We decided 2 summers ago it was time to breed again. We absolutely adore the Goldendoodle breed and want to share our love of this breed with others.

This litter of puppies are ready to go home!

They have their first round of puppy shots and Vet Check.

Our puppies are raised in our home with both parents; Sheba & Jake. We do not rehome our breeding dogs once they retire. They enjoy their retirement with us. Our puppies are socialized and loved on from birth. They learn to go through a doggy door and are 99% potty trained when they go to their new home. We love this breed and are focused on breeding happy, healthy puppies!

Why a Goldendoodle?

Most Goldendoodles get the personality of a Golden Retriever and the wonderful non-shedding trait of a Standard Poodle. They are very loving and affectionate dogs. They are intelligent and can be mischievous if not trained. They are wonderful with children. Goldendoodles are also needy and very active, especially as puppies! You will need to dedicate a lot of time and energy in your new family member. We highly recommend a decent size yard or someone who runs or walks daily. They do settle down around 2 years old, but the first 2 years, they are quite active.
